Chain Reaction

Sodium, Potassium, Magnesium,

​Vitamin A, Copper, Iron

Each nutrient depends on other nutrients to be utilized as cofactors.
 
One nutrient deficiency triggers a chain reaction of a deficiency of utilizable nutrients even if intake of most is adequate.

​Underutilized nutrients can lead to nutrient toxicity--especially with iron that feeds inflammation and infections.  
​
A very common pattern of chain reaction of deficiency and toxicity has been identified with scientific research by Morely Robbins and is explained in his Root Cause Protocol. He began by recommending magnesium as a miracle cure but then realized that other nutrients were needed because they all work together as a system.  
 
First: get potassium and sodium balanced so that you can utilize magnesium.
 
Magnesium is essential to utilize calcium, which is accumulating in the wrong places in the body. Never take calcium supplements when you are guessing, there is plenty in food usually. 
 
Magnesium plus vitamin A, plus ceruloplasm, an enzyme in food, not a supplement, enable you to utilize copper.
 
Copper enables you to utilize iron.
 
Anemia Means Iron Toxicity  (dysregulation)
 
Lab tests that indicate anemia actually only show iron not being utilized in red blood cells. This does not mean a lack of iron the diet. It means a lack of nutrients to utilize iron.  A fuller blood panel would test for things like the enzyme ferroxidase, which has copper in it to utilize iron.
 
Doctors have no clue how to read blood tests because they have no conception of a system: how all the parts work together as a system, that is, how all the nutrients work together as a system.
 
People often accumulate iron from food and iron fortified foods like bread that use shards from industry, not even a biologically available form with cofactors like copper and magnesium
 
The correct name for this condition is iron dysregulation, not anemia that implies simply deficiency only. Deficiency and toxicity occur at the same time. Opposites are not inherently exclusive but can imply each other.
 
Prescribing iron supplements usually worsens iron toxicity. What does iron toxicity do? Iron rusts, that’s oxidation. Unutilized iron creates inflammation and pain. Iron also feeds infections. Iron is used by infectious pathogens to construct fortresses against the immune system known as biofilm shields.
 
You’re Not Going to Just Kill Your Infection
 
Everybody is screaming about lyme bacteria infection or candida fungal overgrowth, but they are not going to kill their infections  by itself without treating the “terrain” of the body, the toxic swamp in which the mosquitoes breed, so to speak. 
 
You have to starve it while strengthening yourself and your immune system.
 
Just because someone has lyme or candida on a test absolutely does not those are the main cause of their symptoms, as most alternative doctors agree.
 
That’s why Morely Robbins calls it the Root Cause Protocol, because nutritional deficiency is at the root of the inability to handle infection and toxins.  He rightfully calls most other explanations “booga wooga.”

The Physics of Nutrition and Toxicity is just as important as Dr. Jack Kruse insists. Sunlight is possibly the most important nutrient and getting sun is not just a fluff ball activity.
​Sun:
  • Is energizing. From UV to infrared, photons are converted to electrons for energy in the body. Sunlight charges water in our body like a battery. You can feel the difference when you lay in the sun and have the nutritional cofactors to absorb its rays.
  • Helps absorb all the other nutrients  
  • Is the best source of  vitamin / hormone D but because
  • Sets circadian rhythms that regulate bio chemistry of hormones and everything else that is best done at the right time.​

The Environment of non native electrical and magnetic fields EMF is a toxin that disrupts bio chemistry so mitigating those exposures is necessary to utilize nutrients.

There is a need for more Customized Protocols.  Energetic testing is necessary for highly customized solutions. The Root Cause Protocol practitioners use lab tests of blood and hair. This is good for people who need objective confirmation. Lab tests, however, cannot prescribe by testing solutions in detail, each food, supplement and method:
  1. Every deficiency
  2. The best source of the nutrient: food first, then only the highest quality supplement if necessary
  3. The exact brand of food or supplement makes all the difference
  4. Amount
  5. Time of day
  6. Combined with what or empty stomach

These details make a break the solution. This can only be determined by some form of energetic testing: I use dowsing with a pendulum. 

Sodium and potassium needs can be very particular. Potassium deficient people cannot tolerate salt. General prescriptions that include salt and potassium will not work for some people that need to avoid or greatly reduce any kind of salt until they are balanced.
