Align from Teeth to Toes
Pain, Nervous System Balance, Detox, and Meditation
Aligning from teeth to toes properly is one of the most productive feel good things to do.
It’s practice ahead of theory sometimes since we cannot always explain such good results.
I recently had a breakthrough when I added more moves to my alignment routine and then felt suddenly totally released and calm, slept long, and then had a detox the next day in which I was wiped out and uncomfortable. When I recovered I felt dramatically rejuvenated, which is harder to do toward the end of a dark Michigan winter lacking energizing sunlight.
I believe I increased circulation to reach toxins like metals that accumulate in the nervous system that could then be moved out.
A secondary affect be from relaxing ANS dysregulation into parasympathetic nervous system strengthening of rest and digest functions that is always a noticeable result of alignment. In this case, it resulted in resting to detox.
I developed my own routine to release tension around the spine, not exercise muscles. I start with the cranium, which most body workers miss, because they don’t understand the problems of bottle versus breast feeding to train the tongue to shape the cranium and teeth, which is often where postural problems begin, as I have explained before. The sutures between bones can be expanded for great relaxing affect.
I cover cranium, neck, chest, shoulders, mid-back, psoas, lower back, sacrum, hip and leg muscles can get released or stretched, not exercising muscles. Muscle adjustment comes from moving normally like walking and bending at the hip, not knees or back. I determine what I do by energetic testing with a pendulum.
Alignment moves are to open spaces between vertebrae and sutures between cranial bones. This occurs through traction, flexion, extension, and releasing muscle tension. This prevents pinching of nerves or “subluxations” as chiropractors say. The moves release tension in muscles that moves bones in and out of place. Normal corrected movement like walking restores proper muscle balance more precisely than exercises that are subject to over-training chronically weakened people.
I can’t give instructions in text comments or advice to people I don’t know because everyone needs a different routine based on their imbalances and pain to work around. Physical therapy is ideally done in person with someone giving you feedback unless you are really skilled at implementing such things. You need to feel what opens your breath to be on the right track. I observe people’s breath and they don’t even notice themselves.
You can hurt yourself with this, but so can body workers. To many body workers have been totally ineffective with me, with such primitive notions of causation their perspective is fragmented and their methods are often antagonistic. Strengthening muscles for balance in a local area can often increase fatigue and not address the off-angled posture coming from a more distant location like the feet or cranium because they don’t think in terms of the whole system.
All this moving around I imagine stimulates circulation of the blood, lymph and cerebral spinal fluid. Here’s where I get a little speculative as there is no definitive unified theory of circulation or even agreement about its parts, according to my scan of the scientific literature.
The most interesting approach around this is the cranial sacral therapy that grew out of osteopathic medicine. They observe that there is a cranial to sacral rhythm of the cerebral spinal fluid, CFS, from tailbone to head. This fluid helps nourish and cleanse the nervous system. This fluid is enclosed I a sack the meninges and they sometimes refer to the dura layer. Two particular bones need to move freely slightly and avoid getting jammed to enable this fluid movement, the sacrum just above the tail bone, and the occipital bone, the lowest bone in the back of the head. Cranial sacral therapists can adjust these bones with gentle touch and read subtle signs to diagnose problems.
Cranial sacral therapists observe that the breath and movement of cranial bones move together in rhythm. Surgeons have confirmed this. When tension of the nervous system is released anywhere, its systemic affect can be felt in the breath, which relaxes. At first it can be slow and deep without effort, like an internal massage of your organs and brain. Then it may fall off to very light, which is actually the goal of meditation. People are often hyper ventilating slightly as their normal breath, which means they breathe out too much CO2 needed to absorb oxygen. Then the brain feels starved for oxygen and keeps breathing hard for more air. CO2 debt is explained in Buteyko Breathing, but that is a method for conscious manipulation that works for some. It can be hard to control breath consciously when the tension has root causes in alignment and a toxic nervous system. This is why you should not “take a deep breath” but let that happen naturally. A few deep breaths that happen with no intention can adjust your ribs and spine and nervous system so that you can breathe shallower in a healthy way.
Detoxification of the brain also involves the more recently discovered glymph system that involves glial cells and liquid that is compared to the lymph system, just like the CFS.
So how well the CFS moves can affect how well it does its functions, which, in turn, depends on how well it is fed and assisted in excretion by the blood, which also interfaces with the lymph. We know lymph is moved by movement of muscles and the kind of bending and stretching I do.
Blood circulation depends on how well the body is energized in general as it is the charge of electrons in the capillaries that pulls circulation more the pumping action of the heart, according to cardiologist Thomas Cowan, following Rudolph Steiner’s work, the spiritual scientist. These electrons are produced by the action of the sun’s photons charging and polarizing the water of the blood. The heart actually acts as a vortex energizer of the water, as the new physics is attempting to explain. The new physics is based on vortex movements that implode, rather than explode like combustion engines. It leads toward negentropy, infinite energy, anti gravity technology, cold coherence versus burning and exploding to dissipate energy as in entropy. Suffice it to say there is a lot going on that we still don’t understand, and that practice can be ahead of theory.
So the more one energizes the body, the better you can detoxify. Energizing proceeds by addressing the weakest links in nutrients from minerals to sunlight, the whole system is only as strong as its weakest link. That said, my energetic testing has identified that a priority is herbs for circulation, although I don’t generally practice “taking this for that” symptom. The choice on circulatory herbs was determined before I was focusing on anything in particular, that is, I asked a broad enough set of questions to get my nervous system’s instincts to tell me what I need, not guided by a specific agenda. So this confirms that my nervous system is detoxifying through circulation, and I still have some ways to go.
I consider myself to be almost entirely detoxified of body burden that accumulated over the years. Yet, there seems to be some toxicity in spaces where circulation is weak due to misalignment, the crucial nervous system where metals especially accumulate, and mercury poisoning had been my number one root cause of chronic fatigue. Pollution from electronics has become the fastest growing environmental exposure.
I notice that seemingly healthy people might have a toxic nervous system. Some people don’t have good range of motion in their fingers when I show them mudras that are hand positions to boost meditation. They are like an insect that is shriveling up because it got hit with pesticides. There are people that have coordination problems and trouble leaning to move therapeutic movements or normal, primal walking. People have cognitive problems they may not even be aware of because they feel they have a strong body.
Detoxifying the nervous system is crucial to balancing the nervous system, to balance ANS, autonomic nervous system dysregulation, in order to rest and energize the body at the right times.
I also notice a boosting of my energetic practice of chi gong meditation. This is not a “mind” meditation but another aspect of circulation, circulation of energy throughout my body and in connection to spirit and the earth. The effect of that is more bliss, more insight, more feeling of moving forward in life.
Energy systems follow the nervous system and spine as the central energy channel in numerous ancient system moves up the spine with two side channel, often depicted as two serpents winding around a staff as in the caduceus, now stripped of one serpent in the medical symbol by clueless nitwits. At the top is the pineal gland, connector to spirit, sometimes represented by a pine cone for the spiraling shapes that represent the sacred geometry of the phi ratio, 1.618, the foundational math of the new physics.
It can take time for people to feel energy work like chi gong and meditations with audios that provide energy transmissions. Alignment and detox can help.

- Mechanics of alignment affecting circulation so that chemistry and physics of nutrition can be distributed to all parts of the body and toxicity removed.
- Energetics and Spirit rely on the body as temple and how energy flows. All physical aspects contribute to a dirty or weak energy body or aura versus strong and clean one.
