with Greater Circulation Though Structural Alignment
to Optimize Nutrition, Detox and Nervous System Regulation
Solving chronic health problems and rejuvenating deeply requires understanding health at greater levels of complexity in more dimensions. This presents a catch 22 of needing more brain power when brain capacity is compromised by health problems.
As people age they lose neuroplasticty or just general energy so be they time they are 60 most people cannot learn much or change habits at time when they need to redouble their efforts to make any progress at all. At age 58 I have accelerated my rate of learning because I have rejuvenated my brain so that I can.
What I present here is systems thinking not symptom thinking: “take this for that,” A to B, simple linear think too feed impulsive shopping in the medical paradigm: ginko, nootropics, coffee, etc.
Brain rejuvenation has a few dimensions: nutrition, detoxification, and circulation to distribute nutrients to and detoxify the brain, and regulation of your entire nervous system to rest and thereby optimize all of the above.
Let’s start with an overview of circulation especially in relation to structural alignment because I believe that is the least understood and most interesting way to tie it together.
Circulation is blood, lymph, cerebral spinal fluid, specialized lymph in the brain, and even the teeth: dentinal fluid.
Each subsystem flows into the other to deliver nutrients and remove waste and toxins.
The most urgent concern of the body is oxygen to the brain through the blood, etc.
Root causes affecting circulation are structural alignment, nutrition, and toxicity.
Structural alignment is bones, teeth and muscle.
Two centers of misalignment are the cranium and hips.
CRANIUM
A misaligned cranium limits the flow of fluids especially cerebral spinal flow.
Misalignment means the cranial bones are jammed together: they are actually separated by cracks or sutures and need to flex for flow of the cerebral spinal fluid from sacrum to cranium.
The two major constraints on cranial flow are from the bite and hip misalignment.
First the bite: optimal cranial growth is achieved through breast feeding that requires hared sucking when the tongue pushes up on the palate to expand it’s size. The palate (maxilla) interfaces with the sphenoid bone that interfaces with the cranium and spine. The sphenoid is the key link between the 3 systems in the center: spine, bite and cranium. If you have ever have your sphenoid adjusted it an amazing experience. It’s often necessary for head injuries. However, the adjustment does not fully hold if you have a misaligned bite as the root cause of a misaligned sphenoid.
Signs of a misaligned bite:
Misaligned bites are at epidemic levels. Some people learned to move their tongues and swallow properly without breast feeding but usually not. Nutrition is another constrain on bite and facial formation, also related to guts damaged by toxins like glyphosates and in vaccines.
There are both DIY ways to loosen up your cranium and professional alternative orthodontics that to expand the palates and adjust the bite, but that’s a long discussion.
HIP MISALIGNMENT
Hips misalignment is usually seen with hips being forward with the chest sunken and head forward.
Root causes are things like chairs and shoes, or even top down from cranial misalignment.
Chairs shorten the illiopsoas complex that needs to be released.
Shoes with higher heals and narrow toe boxes destabilize alignment by limiting benefits you would get if you are barefoot.
Complications can occur from tailbone injuries from falling as child that you might not remember. An Xray or physical exam can reveal this. Lateral asymmetry can be a symptom.
DIY treatment includes releasing tension and then moving normally like walking to align hips—it feels more sexy and powerful. And bending at the hip, not the just the knees as the pseudo alternative.
For chronic misalignment, as distinguished from injuries, you have to work first along the center of the body from teeth to spine to toes with DIY methods and primal normal movements like walking correctly so you don’t reproduce misalignment every day. Walk right for brain circulation. Why do you think walking helps people get ideas? If you also walk to realign structure that’s change that continues when you are not walking.
Poking bone is a symptoms treatment that you should not rely on exclusively. Muscles moves bone. Remember the tongue. Moving: walking, sitting, bending, etc.
Don’t just have therapies done too you when you have to learn to move properly on a daily basis. Therapies done by specialists like massage, etc, can be more helpful if you have an injury from sudden impact, but chronic issues are more systemic in nature from the way you move.
