Reacting to Many Foods
or
Every Time You Eat:
Your liver and gut are toxic or infected so that
you can’t digest and detoxify at the same time smoothly.
When you eat, detoxification through the liver and bowels can’t handle the load, which activates back-up processes of detoxification to excrete out urine, vomit, skin or mucous of sinuses, throat, and lungs.
Let’s review the possible explanations of food reactions:
Permanent Allergy or Intolerance
Gluten intolerance is an example of foods that are worth just eliminating permanently because people often don’t do well on starchy carbohydrates in general due to insulin and hormonal disruptions leading to blood sugar fluctuations, weight gain, and moods. Plus, starches are lower in nutrients relative to calories compared to other food groups. So there are numerous reasons that lead toward a strategy of elimination.
People often treat histamines as a permanent condition because they don’t know the causes or solutions.
Histamines are way over-diagnosed: they assume all reactions are histamine based.
Temporary allergy or intolerance
These food reactions can be fixed by correcting nutritional deficiencies of nutrients needed as cofactors for assimilation of those foods.
For example, molybdenum deficiency is known to create intolerance to sulfur foods.
Histamine reactions result from a nutritional deficiency of DAO producing bacteria in the gut, kidney, etc. DAO is an enzyme the helps with digestion. This is a probiotic deficiency and can be a part of overall dysbiosis as the balance between histamine vs DAO producing bacteria that liven naturally in our gut.
Deficiencies of magnesium, sodium or potassium can lead to problems assimilating all foods because they are cofactors for so many things. Potassium is especially implicated in dairy allergies. Pasteurized dairy allergenic also because heat has destroyed enzymes in the milk, like lactase that helps digest lactose sugar in the milk. That is why raw dairy is less allergenic, but there are many other reasons to be intolerant to even raw dairy, like potassium deficiency.
While dairy and eggs are considered some of the most allergenic foods, raw dairy and raw eggs are among the most healing and better than any supplements. It is imperative to eliminate pasteurized dairy and cooked eggs and fix the remaining intolerances to raw dairy and raw eggs as super healing foods for detoxification. I cannot give any general advice since solutions are individualized and complex, involving the whole diet so that all the cofactor nutrients can work together to assimilate all nutrients.
Most people are stuck in elimination strategies of avoidance because they don’t’ understand root causes and best solutions.
Systemic toxic / infectious overload weakening digestion
If reactions happens every time you eat it's a systemic blockage: the liver is overloaded with toxins and can't digest at the same time, and so toxins back up in the blood and the body tries to get them out other ways in mucous, lymph and skin, urination--which you might not notice unless you wake to pee.
If i eat too much late at night i get cold like symptoms. It's any variety of harder to digest foods like meat, I am not allergic to meats. It’s that my body is shifting at night toward detoxification and rebuilding, not digestion, so it’s trying to do too many things and once and overloads..
The systemic part comes down to detoxifying your liver and gut, and strengthen digestion, which every health seeker should do. I can't give any advice because it's different for everyone and way too complex for a FB comment.
I will say that detox involves symptoms, and symptoms avoidant strategies stop people from detoxing. They think they are allergic and won't do what it takes.
What's missing in most discussions of health is the systems view, or holistic. Many people are caught in A to B only, matching remedies with symptoms. A few root causes have many chain reactions to many symptoms. Root causes are things like toxic load and nutritional deficiencies.
Detoxification is best done through nutrients that rebuild all your detox pathways, centered around the liver and bile flow.
Binders are not enough, that is too passive.
Liver cleanses are too sporadic and often involve fasting that weakens nutritionally deficient individuals. Vegetarian liver cleanses are not the best. Even then, all kinds of cleanses can produce great results for some people because this area is so important. But better is not best.
Detoxification should be built into your diet so that you don’t experience symptoms every time you eat, eventually. In the meantime, your symptoms can get worse because detox is difficult. Getting through the discomfort requires a new theoretical understanding otherwise people quit. Avoiding reactions alone is not a plan.
