Sunburn and Sun Intolerance
Nutrients are needed to tolerate sunlight and to utilize it for health.
Sunlight is a nutrient and like all nutrients requires other nutrients as cofactors to work together to utilize it. When cofactors are missing, then nutrients can become allergens that the body can’t process.
Cholesterol and sulfur are key to tolerating and utilizing sunlight, not just for making Vitamin D in your skin, but to provide photons to convert to electrons in your body to structure your water and blood to flow. This requires many other nutrients that work together.
Cholesterol is good for you for many reasons, and not just in moderation. Cholesterol as a problem has been refuted decades ago, which is why I don’t bother to explain it. It is searchable. The Weston A. Price foundation has good articles on that.
Sun intolerance can be due to complex interrelated deficiencies starting with either or both cholesterol or sulfur.
Both are found in eggs, but you can be allergic to eggs because of other nutritional deficiencies.
Sulfur intolerance can be due to molybdenum deficiency, but taking molyB supplements may not work because isolated supplements may not be in biologically utilizable form or are too much since molyB may be toxic in high amounts. It’s all about balance.
Nearly all nutrients require the right amounts and forms for magnesium, sodium and potassium. This should be tested energetically individually.
If your question still is, “What should I take for my sun intolerance or burning?” then you don’t understand. There is no universal solution conceived of as “taking this for that” linear reductionist thinking. The body is a complex system. Most people are shopping for universal solutions. I know a person who had about 10 nutritional deficiencies that had to be corrected first before she could utilize and tolerate the sun. Even though the sun is the most important nutrient, it depends on many other things. The only solution is a complete solution. This is why I don’t give many “tips” or mention brands and products because if those things don’t work in isolation they will just think my advice is bad no matter how much I explained to them it does not work like that. Most people just want something concrete to grasp because they are just shopping transactionally and don’t want to think transformationally.
I used to burn and have had sun stroke. I never burn any more and can tolerate seemingly any amount of sun in a temperate climate.
