Dr. Jack Kruse wrote that we need IR to utilize and withstand UV. Too much UV when the sun is strongest can be a problem, but it does not cause cancer as is commonly believed.
I’ve had sun stroke several times before I knew anything about health and had mercury poisoning and nutritional problems. Now I can be out around high noon without burning ever.
I find that UV depends on IR more than IR depends on UV.
I found that I can tolerate exclusive exposure to infrared through my Relax Sauna, but UV alone by sunning around solar noon without also sun other times of the day is not as beneficial.
I estimate the best times of the day to balance both IR and UV (for me) are about between 2.5 to 3 hours from solar noon. So here in Michigan with solar noon at daylight savings time at 1:30, that would be between 10:30-11, and 4-4:30. I’m not needing 30 min at a time—testing method explained below.
I was sunbathing naked between 2-3, and the later went to the river between 6-8. Now I feel best around 4. Morning can feel best, but I have other things to do in the morning.
Another way to do it is half an hour closer to solar noon with an hour later in the day, or half an hour early and late each, something like that, the numbers are not exact.
Or be out all day so it balances out. Or maybe take to the shade for lunch and a nap around solar noon as with rural workers or beach goers in Mexico I have observed.
I notice whether the sun feels good on my skin or is stinging a bit like I don’t want to be out.
Some people are sun intolerant because they lack sulfur and cholesterol. Usually there are most basic deficiencies like magnesium or even sodium and potassium. All deficiencies must be identified to correct any of them because they all work together as a system. Some people fail in protocols because their tolerances are tightly linked and they make one mistake and think they are implementing correctly. Others can benefit with each thing the take because cofactor interdependencies are not as tight.
Intolerance to UV lamps is common and due to mercury sensitivity from mercury bulbs used in the lamps. It could also be lack of IR for balance, like taking an isolated vitamin supplement, this has not been discussed and experimented with much.
I use the far infrared Relax Sauna as the most tolerable, energizing and relaxing. I also take the heaters out to use as FIR lamps on my back and face during cold months.
I like taking little bit of scientific information and experiment with the various parameters established because I know how to turn it into researchable questions. I measure results is with my own sensitivity as I can feel effects or results immediately. I also do energetic testing with a pendulum to make decisions from many options.
