MISSSing Minerals
Magnesium
Iodine
Sulfur
Silica
Selenium
Common nutrient deficiencies I observe.
MAGNESIUM
Everyone knows this is the most common nutrient deficiency.
Magnesium is for everything.
Magnesium is part of the 1000’s of enzymes and processes in the body necessary to make all things work.
Magnesium is a major cofactor nutrient necessary to absorb other nutrients, working with sodium and potassium, it is necessary to work with vitamin A to utilize calcium, copper and iron.
Without mag, copper and iron can accumulate as oxidizing toxins that feed infections, too.
Without mag, unbound and utilized calcium can accumulate in arteries or between vertebrae as spinal stenosis, etc, while the person also has osteoporosis as calcium is not in the right place.
IODINE
Is for every cell the body.
Iodine often missing due to local soil conditions and lack of seafood.
When deficient, similar atoms that are also halides occupy those spaces:
• chlorine and fluoride in our water.
• Flouride from “floxxed” antibiotics like levofloxacin, cipro and hydroxychloroquine,
Nearly all quinolone antibiotics in use are fluoroquinolones, which contain a fluorine atom in their chemical structure and are effective against both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria.
• Bromides from furniture fire retardants.
And yes “for” thyroid, because it is in thyroid hormones. But often low thyroid hormone is an adaptation to low metabolism due to nutritional deficiencies like iodine for every cell, and toxic body burden. That is why iodine works better than taking hormones.
SULFUR
Provides energy and is important for general detox, pain, skin and utilizing sunlight for energy. Electrifies the blood as cholesterol sulfate.
SILICA
Silica is also important for joint pain, skin hair, and detoxifying aluminum.
Silica is depleted by toxic exposures to aluminum especially through air pollution by aerosol spraying of chemtrails from airplanes that are long lasting and can fan out into cloud cover and haze.
SELENIUM
Is important for detoxifying mercury and lead.
Mercury has many sources from shots, dental fillings and coal burning power plants.
Lead was in more paints and auto fuel for older people when they were growing up.
Mercury exposure is also in large cooked fish like tuna. The fish were healthy when they were caught and grew to a large size because they were taking in unlimited amounts of selenium that neutralized the mercury, but cooking seems to break the protective effect.
LITHIUM
I could add lithium as the sleeper mineral because few know its importance and it helps with sleep, detoxification and the full range of cognitive and emotional problems.
So the total list would be SLIMS’S.
And then you know my ultimate secret: I get all my minerals at Slims’s barbeque. The secret is in the sauce.
I don’t give advice in social media comments.
