Sensual, Instinctive & Scientific Eating
Many people eat for taste, excluding junk food, but for savoring every bite.
I call this sensual eating and it usually not fully aligned with health, but it could be.
Instinctive eating is when taste and cravings lead to what is good for you.
Scientific eating is studying other possibilities you have not experienced and then experimenting until your instincts drive your cravings through getting results. That’s how you rewire your brain.
Ultimately, the most sensual eating is instinctive as your tongue gives you more reasons to eat that food and you can feel it all over your body that is designed to give you that feedback as a kind of scientific confirmation.
Most people eat for taste and this is why I don’t tell them what I eat because they are treating my examples as a buffet menu of choices on a whim.
They are shopping me as a transaction, rather than understanding the science for a transformation by listening for new ideas.
They are most concerned about what they will give up and immediately start to negotiate on the basis of resistance and try to turn me into a permission giver: “Can I eat….” leading the conversation without direction.
They are like children seeing what they can get away with doing as little as possible.
They want change without changing.
So the first question is what result do you want to change?
Then, what are you going to do about it?
I talk to people through the outcome: imagine feeling better in any number of ways:
For the sensual eater without any health problems that would otherwise compel them to change, I propose that they experiment with different food options they don’t know about to see what makes them feel better, especially in broader ways.
Not make a snap decision on in your head based what a food “sounds like” but you’ve never tried it. When your body gets the nutrients it needs the brain will tell you to crave that.
There are two kinds of experiments: simple and complex.
Simple is you eat a new food to see its results.
Complex is that you need to make a number of changes for any one change to work.
Number one is nutritional deficiencies like potassium and magnesium that are necessary to tolerate many foods that create symptoms or even, if you are lucky, your body will tell you it’s “yuck.”
Often people crave what is bad for them because their brains don’t’ work.
Or the food could be good for them 5 minutes later after taking potassium and magnesium.
B1 or thiamine deficiency leads to lack of stomach acid to digest many things especially protein and just fixing this with food makes a huge difference. So that’s a priority to make other things work.
Probably the main source of intolerance is missing probiotics bacteria and yeast to digest food and create nutrients so you no longer need so many specific foods and supplements like for B vitamins. A long list of intolerances has to be solved at this level: oxalates, histamines, etc.
This is the most complex but important set of deficiencies to solve since it appears that you need to get it exactly right as you anything you don’t need will hurt you, and you need a collection of the species your body needs and exact strain of that species for it to work. Rarely do people succeed by guessing.
Mixed signals eating is the most difficult.
Many people crave raw milk products for good reason but are not ready for them until the above problems are fixed.
Wheat is known to be addictive by satisfying the brain but has other irritants from gluten to glyophosate if not organic.
If it is a problem, and your favorite meal is pasta with parmesan cheese and you won’t let it go, experiment with other foods to find other sources of satisfaction.
Try to let go of other carbs sources you don’t like as much.
Take one thing at a time instead of a crash elimination diet if you aren’t sure and aren’t ready for that.
Stay focused on finding one thing at a time that makes you feel better than what you were eating.
Fix your gut and maybe there won’t be a problem with eating anything, but maybe just in different proportions.
Research what nutrients are in paramesan cheese to find out what is special about that: spermadine—look it up. If spermadine is why you crave that and you are intolerant or allergic to cheese then there are other sources for that.
What almost everyone is missing is how artificial lights at night drive carb cravings by making your brain think it summer and driving up insulin. The stronger the worse it is.
Blue light from computer screens that don’t have dimmers do this.
Look up blue light solutions.
Blue light disrupts your whole chemistry:
Creates vitamin A toxicity by separating it from melanopsin.
Destroys DHA fat, known as the fish oil but found in grassfed fats.
Suppresses melatonin production at nigh for sleep and as an antioxidant.
I can’t take the time to explain everything about everything you are missing: look it up not ask for anything in comments.
For guest in my kitchen I could energetically muscle test most of the things they need and give it to them there in the right order so they can tolerate it. I can’t fix the gut quickly like that, but still find what they can tolerate now and feel better immediately probably, minute by minute. Energetic testing works long distance, too, but I can’t give things instantly.
When it works it’s fun. It’s not fun if you’re not good at it. It’s important to reduce stress in every way. Being frustrated and making things worse is stressful.
The results of looking and feeling relatively young and having the energy to understand and do things is priceless.
Eating should be sensual with the confidence that you are doing the best thing for your body, no guilt or trade-offs but giving yourself all the care and love you deserve.
I can’t give any personal or product advice in comments on social media i can't guess what you need and complete solutions take hours to evaluate and design.

I talk to people through the outcome: imagine feeling better in any number of ways:
- Energy increases immediately and over time.
- Brain lights up with clarity
- Improvement of sleep, digestion, sex drive, etc.
- Skin improves from the inside out more than anything you can put on it externally.
- Pain reduction.
- Slowing of aging in general
