SILICA
& the Problem with Isolated Nutrients
Silica for beauty, pain, detox.
In all collagen: skin, hair, nails, teeth, joints, vessels, gut.
Aluminum drains it.

Isolated Nutrients can create imbalances of cofactor nutrients.
Cofactors are best found in food sources.
There are exceptions with isolated nutrients that don’t through anything off in the context of one’s current total nutrition.
Silica is a good example.
The large amounts needed to detoxify aluminum, probably the most common toxin in the body on average, requires cofactors to work.
It common to focus on the form of silica according to what is considered “most absorbable” but it usually studied in an isolated way.
“The science” says that OSA, orthosilicic acid, is the most absorbable form.
This is pushed by a chemist with little understanding of nutrients and biology or sensitivity in clinical practice.
Natural waters are one thing.
But he even turned into a chemistry project of a complicated way to make your own.
“It’s easy,” he declares. He knows because he is a chemist.
Even the natural waters discovered around the world with silica lack all cofactors required to utilize it, which can drain the cofactors you have from your foods.
At very high amounts of isolated silica I developed these deficiency signs:
C: nose bleeds, remedied quickly with a food version of C with cofactors.
Magnesium: muscle twitching, mild cramps, not as sharp as with potassium deficiency. Remedied with mag powder on hand. .
Even at low amounts you could create imbalances you can’t see if you are already deficienct.
Traditional use of silica rich mineral waters was in a context of their whole diet and perhaps restricted amounts. They never developed a silica deficiency and had to figure it out how use therapeutic doses without imbalancing cofactor nutrients.
Some forms of silica in food might not be considered the most absorbable, but stomach acid can convert them to OSA, if that is the most absorbable form. Stomach acid requires B1 or thiamine which is a common deficiency in sick people, and that requires cofactors, too. Knowing how to up thiamine with food when supplements don’t work is a challenge about by itself often for reasons of subjective preferences with complaints and arguments.
So to help people with chronic conditions you have to know the whole of their highly individualized condition.
The more I learn about the nutrients in foods the shorter my list of supplements becomes, and many of those are food based anyway.
Foods have many nutrients that solve many problems simultaneously.
I can’t just give you a solution.
When I do give examples I get complaint and arguments that I have already heard and have a way around but no one is listening when they are triggered with the all too common sloppy reading.
Above all, I cannot work for free when I sacrificed. I spent a lot to learn the solution and I have to work for a living.
