Your Second Diet: Made in the Gut
Your Second Diet is the one made by your gut.
Good bacteria and yeast, probiotics, make many nutrients. Like B vitamins, K, beta carotene and versatile fatty acids like butyrate, and proteins: neuostransmitters and maybe collagen judging by surprising improvement in skin.
Nobody has calculated what percentage of nutrients we get from the gut, but you can sure feel a difference when you get it right.
I used to get nosebleeds from vitamin K and C deficiencies.
I had to stay on top of my sauerkraut for K and take fruit based C products.
Now I take neither and have no incidences.
C is important for skin.
Suddenly I stopped needing nitric oxide supps.
Resistant starch foods are fuel for the colon to make it squeeze and relieve constipation.
B vitamins are important for energy, mood, and methylation detoxification, through fermentation done by probiotics produce these just as fermented foods help with that, too.
Minerals cannot be made but rely on external inputs, although they are utilized better with enough of the vitamins, fats, and proteins made.
You wonder why healthy people don’t need to take as many or any supplements although they may be athletes.
The closest people come to understanding this is often that parasites or pathogens are eating their nutrients. Sorta because whatever empty space is left by a lack of friendly critters is occupied by pathogens. This why it often does not work to just kill infections because the bad one come back.
A probiotic strategy is an occupying army that also goes into hiding places, unlike a an aerial bombing that has a quick big impact but does not finish that job. You can do both, of course, but the proportions of what is effective are much less in the pure killing things because you get die-off and fatigue that can be too hard to handle without more nutrients produced by probiotics.
It’s false to claim that parasites eat probiotics. This is rationalization of failure to use probiotics that is actually due to lack of precision in prescribing. Probiotics must the energetically tested in some way for the individual. Often what you don’t need will bother you so you can’t just shotgun it to cover all the bases. Amounts can be crucial with an occasional need for fermenting trillions rather than the billions or just millions in a supplement.
Energetic testing identifies the need and then matches with exact product brands that may have the strain of the species one needs. It requires a lot familiarity with what’s on the market to find what will work. Energetic testing fails mostly in the area of questions asked and for lack of knowing solution options.
Look up energetic testing I don’t have time to explain everything about everything every time I write.
I can’t give any advice of any kind.
