Liver or the Gut?
Toxicity or Infection?
Nutrients for both
People with fatigue, brain fog, pain and other symptoms often wonder what is causing their problems and asking these kinds of questions.
Often it’s both of the above in ways that are highly interdependent.
The liver, associated with detoxification, produces bile to remove toxins and digest fat that also is the first step to peristalsis to clear the gut on a daily basis if you are not constipated.
Health may begin in the gut, but gut health also begins in the liver.
Regularity can be the most important starting point for one daily mood and brain function.
Bile is also known to kill pathogens especially in the upper intestine where it empties through the gallbladder to digest fat and release toxicity.
SIBO, small intestine bowel overgrowth, is thought be to some to be caused by bile flow deficiency.
Gut infections and dysbiotic bacteria and yeast imbalance is the other side of the coin.
Good bacteria are needed to recycle bile back to the liver.
A strong gut lining prevents leaky gut in which things that should not enter the body do and put a strain on the liver. One such toxin is LPS, lipopolysaccarides that are products of bacteria.
So it can be a vicious cycle.
What came first, the chicken or the egg?
Egg yolks for bile flow having both cholesterol and lecithin to help make bile.
Chicken for collagens to repair the gut.
That’s more of a pun here, but true.
You don’t need an ultimate diagnosis, spending thousands of dollars on inconclusive tests, to get started.
At root cause things are overlapping.
Immunity and mitochondria address both toxicity and infection through every cell in the body including the liver and gut.
You can hit all the bases with basic nutrients.
The immune system’s front line is white blood cells that are not just for infections as people think, but all invaders including toxicity, and even scavenge body fat.
It’s another false dichotomy: immunity is for infection, liver is for toxicity.
The immune system broadly conceived is also the bile, stomach acid pancreatic enzymes that digest biofilm and bugs.
Even if you have a parasitic infection that needs to be killed, the longer you have been sick and depleted by it, the more you immune system will have to help—maybe even more than half the work. You can’t always just kill an infection with external meds.
White blood cells have mitochondria like all other cells.
A mitochondria approach includes immunity, detoxification and gut healing.
People often assume different words refer to different things because they don’t conceptualize the meaning and relationships.
They don’t conceptualize relationships because they are not the habit of thinking in terms of a system: how are the parts work together as a whole.
The medical paradigm sees everything as separate symptoms, take this for that, and much of the “natural” health field unnaturally separates things, too.
Health depends all nutritional deficiencies being solved since we are only as strong as our weakest links: minerals, vitamins, proteins, fats, sunlight.
The ultimate energy is mitochondria for every cell: the NAD/ H pathway: this boosts white blood cells too.
The electron transport chain delivers energy to NAD.
Electrons are created through red, infrared light from the sun or red lights indoors.
The NAD pathways must be balance with methlylation which is about a lot more than folate problems.
To ramp up these energy pathways all the minerals and other vitamins need to level to catch up to the increased energy pathways.
This does not mean taking supplements. Foods more naturaly balance vitamin nutrients.
If you are drawing a blank now it’s because the way we all learn is that we expect the answer to be something else.
Then we are not really listening until we take the time to throw out the old info that stands in the way.
If you are not healed or healing quickly, it’s because of the way you look for answers.
