A New Paradigm of Nutrition:
Micros, Macros, Microbes, Light
New trends contribute toward a new paradigm of nutrition I propose here.
MACROS: INVERTING THE FOOD PYRAMID.
Traditional Food Pyramid:
High carb: The traditional food pyramid puts complex carb at the bottom as the highest volume of food to eaten.
Low fat.
Fat with cholesterol is bad and vegetable oils are better.
Moderate lean meat, or eliminate meat.
Inverted Food Pyramid:
Lower or no carbs
High fat is fine
Avoid most vegetable oils, fat with cholesterol is good.
Plenty of meat is good, including fatty meat.
Extreme versions of this inversion have worked well for many people:
Carnivore means no plants because plant fibers or anti-nutrients in plants have triggered all kinds of problems in people that went away when they went carni.
Keto means very low carbs to force one to burn fat for energy.
Some people got worse.
Some people like myself who have experimented with these trends have found them to be helpful but not optimum.
Carbs, sugar and insulin are not evil and the causes of all disease.
Plenty of people who eat many carbs are not overweight, don’t have diabetes, and are healthy. Some ex ketos now eat 100s of grams of carbs a day with no problem.
It depends on whether they have the micro nutrients to burn carbs/natural sugar as energy.
An individuals optimum balance of micro nutrients can be distributed among plant and animal foods.
Health also depends on the light environment.
LIGHT: NUTRITION & TOXICITY
Physics has been huge hole in our health knowledge that many people don’t know about.
The physics of nutrition has been developed most by Dr Jack Kruse.
Sunlight is not just for vitamin D but photons of light are converted to electrons via Einstein’s photoelectric effect to power circulation and mitochondria of every cell in the body.
Light therapies using a slice of sun may work using red light and UVB lights.
Grounding to the earth provides electrons.
Cold immersion in water or air enhances the magnetic field of the body.
Artificial Light
At night:
Disrupts circadian or sleep cycles via serotonin and melatonin production, etc.
Increases the perception of summer as a time load carbs so raises insulin levels and carb craving.
All day and night
Blue light around 450 nm as in LEDs.
Destroys DHA (as in fish oil) needed to utilize sunlight for energy
Creates vitamin A toxicity by separating it from melanopsin, in skin and eyes that is our light sensing and regulating mechanism Light exposure to the skin and eyes has this effect.
Is responsible for much of AGES, advanced glycation end products whereby glycogen interferes with protein synthesis—it’s not just the demon of sugar.
Just a few examples.
This calls for blue light blocking glasses, hats, screen dimmers, and learning about what makes a safer light bulb.
Man-Made Electronic Radiation EMF or EMR
Electro magnetic radiation, EMR, from wireless and wired devices.
Over-stimulates each cell’s voltage gated calcium channels leading to too much calcium in the cells and a chain reaction of free radical damage.
Excito-toxic effects leading to overstimulation: insomnia or stimming in autistic children.
Voltage Gate Nutrition
One thing neglected in research and discussion of EMR are the nutrients needed to make voltage gated channels work properly. This is clearly important as many people do not feel symptoms or seem to be effected even if they can’t feel it. For example, world records in running are being set at a faster rate than ever.
There are rather random discussions of micronutrients people take to help with EMR, that shows they make a difference, but we have no systematic picture from research.
Thus, chemistry and micro nutrients are important.
The physics of health community has called themselves mitochondriacs.
I like the mito perspective because it addresses every cell the body, rather than the ridiculously simplistic “adrenal fatigue,” for example.
But the chemistry of nutrition still matters for mitochondria although Kruse denies as he says things like “DHA is the only valuable nutrient“ and “you can eat crap off a shingle” as long as you get your sunlight. When I wrote that we can use minerals to eliminate pain he said it “made my BS meter go off more and more with all your recent posts.” He thus reveals that he does not know basic things about nutrition that any competent practitioner should know.
Still worth following him on FB or elsewhere to get much more depth on the physics of health.
MICRO NUTRIENTS
Micro nutrients include minerals, vitamins, and other small nutrients.
These are necessary to make any diet work, for digestion, mitochondria, all functions.
These all work together in balance and missing some can lead to intolerances of others and the foods they are in like sulfur intolerance, a vital mineral the depends on other micro nutrients to assimilated and tolerated.
Food versus Supplements
A key issue is whether to get nutrients from supplements or food.
People rely way too much on supplements because they are promoted and they can read the contents on the bottle rather than look up what is in food in on-line data bases.
Many people think that a nutrient is not listed on a package it is not there: as if beef is just fat and protein, when it also has many vitamins and minerals.
I am amazed how little people know about the food sources of vitamins and minerals and other vital and rare nutrients.
Vitamin supplements are all synthetic and I don’t use any because I know how to get enough from food that is more utilizable in undenatured forms with cofactors.
Synthetic vitamins may make some people feel better but better is not best.
Synthetics can make one much worse including D, thiamine, and B6.
Most people don’t know how we make D, in what form is best utilized, or the problems with various supplements artificial or “natural” (don’t ask in comments, find my writing).
Other downsides of supplements are that nutrients are denatured by heat or solvents in processing and in isolation they lack the cofactor nutrients in naturally found ratios.
Additives are another big problem.
Isolated minerals can work because they can’t be synthesized and are often necessary, although it possible to eliminate some supplements when you know the right foods.
Traditional foods are nutrient rich before we understood chemistry to say why.
Other cultures still a higher variety of animal parts and other foods with many nutrients.
Spend your time looking up nutrient values of foods, and food sources of nutrients. It will save money with a better result. Many people can’t tell if their supplements are working. Most don’t experiment to see if food works even better.
Nutrient to Calorie Ratio
A key objective is optimizing the nutrient to calorie ratio with the most nutrient dense foods.
I think cooked starches are the lowest in value and highest in allergens.
Fructose-phobes do not understand the value of flavonoids, C, minerals, and structured water in fruit. Whole foods have nutrients to utilize natural sugars, some are in meat.
Food Intolerances
Sometimes no diet works when you have too many micro deficiencies.
When you have no deficiencies you can digest and tolerate a wider range of healthy foods.
With deficiencies you lack cofactors to tolerate healthy foods like raw dairy products as super healers. There are a dozen reasons for dairy allergies—find my writing: click, click, click no typing necessary.
Sulfur intolerance from missing cofactors leads to other intolerances as well.
There are other reasons for food intolerances that I acknowledge and I've heard of all the them so there’s no need to argue.
People who have a labyrinth of intolerances need to take the right things in the right form in precise order or simultaneously to solve it.
PROBIOTICS
Digest and Make nutrients to improve the nutrient to calorie ratio
Key to fixing food intolerances, infections
Crucial to brain, mood, energy, skin, high performance
Identify the few you need through energetic testing I do long distance.
Take way more than usual.
Select carbs for prebiotic value AFTER having probiotics to digest them.
PRINCIPLES of this PARADIGM
The last principle explains why I don’t give any advice or recommendations in social media comments.
Because nutrition should be customized, especially when working on food intolerances often involved in chronic illness, assessment methods are important. Nevertheless, you don’t have to accept any of what follows to agree with what I wrote above.
METHODS OF ASSESSMENT
Experimentation
Start by feeling the results of your experiments, assuming you have some things that feel good enough to make a contrast to distinguish what is working. For some it’s all a blur and nothing works.
Immediate feedback is best so you can correlate it to what you just ate.
You can start with some traditional type foods proven for thousands of years, but that does not narrow it down much to your needs.
If you need help practitioners and testing techniques may be necessary.
Lab Tests Have Many Limitations
Just having numbers does not mean objectivity and accuracy.
Problems include:
Energetic Testing
I am not going to explain how all these works as you can look it up.
Energetic testing has various advantages and problems.
What most people experience is that it does not work and there are many reasons for fails.
There are many ways to do it and skill levels of practitioners.
If they are using muscle testing to get YES or NO answers it depends on the questions asked:
I found my solutions that work through personal experience:
I suggest you try to learn to feel energy by touch or sight using your animal instinct.
Advantages
Limitations
Questions depend totally on the science and what questions you ask. That’s why the paradigm question comes first.
Testing can be tricky with nuances to questions.
- Inverting the food pyramid in terms of macro nutrients.
- Introducing the physics of nutrition emphasizing sunlight and toxicity of artificial light that destroys micronutrient chemistry and circadian rhythms.
- Micronutrient focus with food because taking a supplement is not always the best solution and often harmful,
- New ideas in probiotics to fix the gut, digestion and improve the nutrient to calorie ratio

PRINCIPLES of this PARADIGM
- When our body gets all the nutrients its needs it can heal.
- The body is only as strong as its weakest link in nutrient deficiencies.
- Nutrients all work together in balance so understanding the roles and connections between each is helpful.
- Whole food forms generally work better than supplements, although extra minerals are necessary, and other things can be used, too.
- Detoxification can be accomplished with nutrients only.
- Killing chronic infection usually requires more than just nutrients, but often the immune system has to be boosted and regulated, too, which includes all basic nutrients for every cell of the body like white blood cents.
- Sourcing of nutrients from food and supplements should be done carefully. In supplements, quality varies widely and sometimes only the best will do.
- Nutritional solutions have to be complete and customized: no generic diet or plan for everyone. This paradigm is not a diet to follow.
The last principle explains why I don’t give any advice or recommendations in social media comments.
Because nutrition should be customized, especially when working on food intolerances often involved in chronic illness, assessment methods are important. Nevertheless, you don’t have to accept any of what follows to agree with what I wrote above.

Lab Tests Have Many Limitations
Just having numbers does not mean objectivity and accuracy.
Problems include:
- Limited tissues sample does not identify even distribution of the nutrient the body.
- Which form of the vitamin/hormone like D which has various forms.
- References ranges may never have been accurate or too low for your needs to detoxify and heal.
- Utilization of nutrients is not clear: high amounts can be a utilization problem, this needs to be interpreted.
- Labs cannot prescribe: you still have figure out the solution.
- Much higher costs
- Take time process and just a snap shot in time when things can change a lot as soon as you start intervening.
Energetic Testing
- Muscle testing in person or long distance with a surrogate
- Self sway test
- Electronic testing devices with questions and maybe even solutions programmed in.
- Feeling energy
I am not going to explain how all these works as you can look it up.
Energetic testing has various advantages and problems.
What most people experience is that it does not work and there are many reasons for fails.
There are many ways to do it and skill levels of practitioners.
If they are using muscle testing to get YES or NO answers it depends on the questions asked:
- About the problem
- If they have a solution that can work.
I found my solutions that work through personal experience:
- I am sensitive enough to feel results immediately when I eat things; crashing or up-lifting.
- I can feel energy in my hand or through pictures when shopping online.
I suggest you try to learn to feel energy by touch or sight using your animal instinct.
Advantages
- Not limited to a tissue sample or measurement method
- Ask any question
- Can prescribe
- When people can’t afford hundreds or thousands of dollars of lab tests.
- Get answers fast to launch and in a crisis especially.
Limitations
- Hard to standardize so varies by practitioner skill, even in interpreting scanning machine devices that are standardized but that don’t have all the categories or every detail
- Bias can effect results as with muscle testing
- Limited quality of solutions to test
- The patient’s nervous system has to be regulated.
Questions depend totally on the science and what questions you ask. That’s why the paradigm question comes first.
Testing can be tricky with nuances to questions.
