UV versus Far Infrared Lamps
The entire red spectrum of light visible and invisible can be tolerated longer for more benefit
with less downsides than UV light, although both are necessary.
with less downsides than UV light, although both are necessary.
The largest impact of both is to electrify your body: photons are converted to electrons for energy in your body. Water is polarized and electrified, feeding production of energy by mitochondria. This is a systemic effect “for” everything. not a medical treatment “taking this for that” symptom.
UV light is the part that provides vitamin D and makes you tan or burned.
Too much UV can, therefore, be a problem.
Too much UV is relative to how much red light is received to protect against the burn effect.
Red or infrared light helps produce an enzyme catalase that neutralizes the free radical damage from the oxygen radicals (electron stealers) that UV can produce.
You can even go on Amazon to find catalase supplements to control free radical damage from hydrogen peroxide used as a hair bleach. I have not tried using catalase as a supplement to prevent sunburn because I never burn due to the fact I have enough cholesterol, sulfur, and molybdenum, all important for making vitamin D from sun exposure. I used to burn and have had sun stroke.
UV LAMPS
If you can tolerate a UV lamp then great, use infrared, too, to be able to absorb it better or use it longer.
But you probably cannot use it as long as infrared so there are fewer benefits.
The biggest problem is that all the brands use bulbs made of mercury so if you are mercury sensitive like I am then you cannot tolerate them.
I have heard of UV lamps made of LED lights, which are also intolerable to me.
Which brings us the question of what red light to use.
RED, FAR INFRARED
The bottom line is what I feel working, not about “the science” that is not complete and then only implemented through junk technology as indicated by the experiences of myself and many other people who can’t tolerate it.
The only things I like are the Far Infrared sauna and lamps from the Relax Sauna brand, distributed by Momentum98.
--I don’t tolerate LED lights, grow lights, etc.
--Near infrared brooder lights don’t do much for me.
--TDP heat lamps have bad electromagnetic radiation.
--I’m not going to answer questions “did I try this?" or review other products.
--“The science” is not much of a guide, 660nm etc., since I don’t tolerate the technologies used for with LED lights.
I like exposing myself for hours each day at my desk with a far infrared lamp. I just posted on that.
A sauna in a silver tent reflects the FIR back at every angle for more exposure. I have used this to warm up, relax and energize and get out before I sweat, so it takes less time and can be done more often without clean up and cool down.
I also do sweat saunas for a stronger detox effect.
Nevertheless, any good light exposure helps detoxify. All nutrients help detoxify which is generally a function of energizing. All nutrients are needed to address all weak links in energy production, which means all physiological functions, to tolerate detox. It is harder to tolerate methods that just detoxify but don’t add energy to tolerate it. Light is nutrition to energize and detoxify.
