- We need enough minerals and vitamins to burn carbs and fat for energy.
- Calorie restriction may not be enough without increasing nutrients to burn energy. Otherwise your body has a starvation response of lower energy expenditure to preserve limited energy based on limited nutrients.
- Cravings can be driven by deficiencies: your body’s hungry search for what is missing.
- High Carbs can create their own hunger response through the insulin response It’s a very old idea you should already know--look it up.
- The target is a better nutrient to calorie ratio of foods aided by supplements without calories. Starchy cooked carbo foods are lower in nutrients per calorie plus have the insulin response.
