GLUTATHIONE
A major detoxification mechanism is the protein glutathione that acts as an antioxidant.
Glutathione mainly removes mercury, arsenic and cadmium.
It does not remove lead and some the other metals. Glutathione removes other toxins and has many functions.
Glutathione cannot be swallowed because it is ruined by digestion. From food, we make glutathione out of the amino acid cysteine and others. The best source of this is the whey protein of raw dairy, or minimually heated whey.
The problem is that so many people are allergic to dairy. The main reason for diary allergy is heating, pasteurization, that destroys enzymes necessary to digest sugars and proteins in milk. Heat also destroys cysteine by changing it to cystine, so you wouldn’t make glutathione anyway.
Allergies to even raw dairy are also caused by any number of nutritional especially mineral deficiencies or intolerances like to sulfur. People have sulfur intolerance due to mineral deficiency of molybdenum, which is not always remedied with taking the supplement form of molyB.
People who have done genetic tests have identified sulfur intolerance, CBS upregulation, and are sometimes hopeless, because they think genetics are fixed. It’s actually epigenetics that are shaped by environment and lifestyle. They do not understand how to use nutritional cofactors, immune boosters, etc., to solve the problem.
It is worth fixing a dairy allergy because raw dairy is one of the most healing foods not just for glutathione production but other immune factors and nourishing fats. In fact, milk is one of the few most complete foods since it is designed to grow a baby all by itself. Some frail people have live on raw milk alone. For thousands of years, raw milk diets have been used for healing, even by medical doctors in the USA 100 years ago.
Even though it is relatively complete, raw milk sometimes does not provide all the nutrients needed to assimilate it, like sodium and potassium, deficiencies of which are responsible for so many food allergies. It is best to get energetic testing to determine why you don’t tolerate raw milk. I will sometimes become intolerant if I don’t take extra salt, beyond salting heavily my food. Others must avoid salt and keep potassium high. Every case is individual. Intolerances and deficiencies usually occur in multiple chain reactions that need to be discovered.
