Deming thought in terms of a whole system of connection between parts and everything in context.
Today’s paradigm of fragmented science is behind marketing and medicine. Things are taken out of context to help measure them. This can be helpful to some extent for controlled experiments, but the thing itself can be altered by the experimental procedures and conditions, like artificial lights in the lab.
A system looks at everything in context: the nutrient in its original food source with cofactor nutrients for utilization in their original bonded forms not broken by heat or chemical solvents, etc.
