Why We Got Burned by Practitioners
How I healed chronic fatigue through nutrition focusing on deficiencies in a new paradigm.
I have the same experience of paying practitioners who did nothing or almost nothing.
I was lucky to get one good supplement or something.
They were mostly pushing supplements allopathically and did not do diet customization other than obvious allergy avoidance.
I would ask practitioners to identify mineral deficiencies and they would say sure and then not do it.
Only one, an ND, directed me to quality information on food nutrition from someone else not professionally trained, more ancestral wisdom and finding what really works.
She said I was the ONLY person who ever listened to that advice.
That’s the practitioner’s side: people don’t listen, they instantly reject something they don’t want to hear, and then they keep shopping randomly with their failed criteria that makes them “resonate” with something that won’t work. It’s easy to be an expert in complaining and excuses, but not becoming aware of how one makes bad decisions.
After giving up on practitioners it took awhile to put the extra energy into doing more research and experimentation myself. I had to catch myself not really being focused on my needs and being despondent or complacent. I was hoping that what had worked would get me to the next level. I had to become aware of how I operated sub optimally and self-sabotaged.
I got side tracked in spiritual paths and emotional healing modalities thinking maybe it’s a deep emotional issue. Although I experienced some great bliss and far out ideas, it was an illusion and distraction from doing the science. Mood and security improve when your body has the resources to handle the stress. The right foods are deeply relaxing. Anxiety and anger does not equal emotional issues, those can be a physical stress response to deficiencies, toxicity, constipation, etc.
What healed me mostly was focusing on basic nutrient deficiencies: minerals, vitamins, protein, fat, sun, etc.
Nutrients can do ALL the detox.
Infection takes more than nutrients but nutrients, too, to boost immunity for difficult infections, that you can’t just kill.
With each improvement I could read more difficult things and solve problems faster.
I have a very well developed theory of nutrition. It is new paradigm that I distinguish from the allopathic medical paradigm that most practitioners are using. It is a systems theory especially focusing on how all nutrients work together as cofactors, at root cause level to explain all the symptoms.
This is not taking supplements for symptoms: take this for that.
Understanding the complex, nuanced and tasty science of food, not just what is explicit and easy to read on a bottle.
This framework is necessary to make an informed decision.
This is why you got burned: you did not have a framework to evaluate the options.
Practitioners were just saying, I’ve studied it and I know because I have a degree.
They follow “the science” that is incomplete and in the wrong framework.
You need more conceptual thinking. I write to explain what that means. You need it even if you don’t think you don't.
No one shops for a new paradigm, they want the latest thing with, like, concrete benefits.
The problem is shopping for preconceived notions of what the answer looks like and share more in common with the old paradigm of the people you detest and then blame them because you can’t see a way out. So you may be stuck in a hopeless, bitter, poverty.
I spend most of my time educating people for free about a better way to heal so you can make better informed decisions and not get burned.
There is plenty of info to get you going in the right direction and stop wasting time and money on labs and supplements and start exploring food options better.
Difficult conditions can benefit from my guidance for a detailed, individualized complete solution.
“I can’t afford it.”
I offer to discuss a payment plan and everyone I asked said they didn’t read that.
It’s immediately under the line where I state fees.
Nobody can afford something that doesn’t work, explained one client who first said that.
Another admitted he was BSing me until we addressed his doubts.
It’s about risk, which depends on how much information you have, which depends on how well you read and talk to me in person about your concerns.
Everything comes down to reading.
You have to read, read, read even if you don’t want to.
Many people have to learn to read:
they read too fast
don’t try to understand every word
don’t read twice
move on before they understand the sentence,
don’t seek the background info when necessary
expect the meaning to leap off the page.
Allow distraction and going back to easy scrolling
When you study for PhD you learn how to focus and read, you don’t go scrolling for something easier that “feels right.”
