Bison / Buffalo Meat
I like the science of what works as proven for thousands of years of difficult survival conditions.
Evidence for carnivore diets can be found in the plains Indians who prospered mainly on buffalo/bison meat.
They also ate the organs more than modern people, just as traditional peoples usually did.
Liver is considered the most nutritious while kidney is for the weakest people.
The Comanche tribe of Texas and later Oklahoma seemed undefeatable in battle until technology overtook their natural advantages with long range rifles and such.
It’s not permanent genetics as the famous chief Quanah Parker was half white on this mother’s side.
I imagine there is a connection to Jim Thorpe, the Native American from Oklahoma who could be considered the greatest athlete of all time:
Olympic champion the decathlon and heptathlon
Played professional football and baseball.
He grew up tending and riding horses, which may be a unique physical development process, I don’t know much about it.
At my sickest with chronic fatigue I got the most energy from bison sirloin and kidney meat, not usually from bison but goat because it was available locally from Halal markets.
Bison meat is way more stimulating than beef as a more wild animal.
However, bison is leaner so I ate raw butter with it.
Now it’s cheaper to just eat high fat 20% beef that is grassfed.
