UPGRADE PROTEIN
Nutrition is highly individualized, some people are better with low or no meat and others more meat.
There are also other sources of protein.
The questions for individuals are:
MEAT
Organ Meat
The first upgrade in meat is to eat a little organ meat every day, liver and kidney being the most nutrient dense. Organs have way more minerals and vitamins than muscle meat, and are much better than taking mulivitamin and mineral supplements. Organic sources are highly preferred as these organs process toxins.
For example, liver has an enzyme to help utilize copper, ceruloplasmin, that is necessary since even when copper is abundant in the body it can’t be utilized without a number of enzymes. Copper is a common key nutrient deficiency because it depends on a chain of cofactors to be utilized and has so many roles in the body. Liver is one of the best sources of B vitamins.
Kidney has many nutrients including DAO to help control histamines. Kidney is good for deep exhaustion.
Eating liver and kidney have the nutrients to restore your liver kidney that take a hit from toxicity.
Different Properties of Meats
It may be of benefit to eat the right amount of each meat each week that your body needs, choosing between, beef, lamb, chicken, turkey, pork, fish, shell fish, buffalo, goat, etc. Or simply: Red, fowl, or seafood.
Red meat is more stimulating and good for muscle strength. It is also a good source of zinc which is crucial for detoxification. Whole food sources of zinc are better because they include cofactors like copper that is often even more deficient in people and taking more zinc could make this worse since it an issue of relative balance.
Fish is more relaxing and good for nerves and brain. It is more alkaline with minerals like potassium, sodium, magnesium. Also selenium is important as an antioxidant and to displace mercury.
Fowl is more in between fish and red meat for stimulation. It is good for the lymph system and muscles. Fowl has good zinc levels, too.
Shell fish especially oysters is more of a mineral source, being more water than protein. Oysters can be very detoxifying with high amounts of minerals like zinc and selenium, and sometimes hard to tolerate.
More Meat Upgrades:
From beef to buffalo because buffalo is a much stronger animal and you can feel more energy.
Fatty cold water fish like mackerel and salmon instead of fish oil pills that are rancid.
Eliminating pork if you are allergic to it can be helpful, since pork is probably the most common meat allergy.
RAW DAIRY is an upgrade from pasteurized dairy.
Raw unheated dairy eliminates many dairy allergies although there are other reasons for dairy allergy I have addressed elsewhere many times.
Milk and cheese have protein. It’s possible for some people to get all their protein needs from dairy and eggs, which are also the most complete foods. Some people live on raw milk alone as a complete food, or do raw milk diets therapeutically for a time.
PROTEIN POWDERS
Protein powders are generally not high quality. These are like supplements that are inferior to fresh food.
These are over-marketed as part of the Bulletproof coffee movement, Most collagen products are overrated,
None of the whey protein powders are really raw because then it would be raw dairy and illegal to sell across state lines in the USA. This would be the most valuable protein powder, but not for protein, for the benefits of raw dairy like immune factors and glutathione, explained below.
Whey protein may be cut with sweeteners like tapioca that bulk-up the weight of the product. The carbohydrate content on the label reveals the additives that lower the concentration of whey.
AMINO ACIDS
This supplement form of protein can be helpful if it is a high quality product you can tolerate, which may be very expensive. I’ve seen it improve sleep significantly. I was not trying to affect sleep but only testing for a nutrient deficiency and need. I don’t aim at symptoms because I don’t think like that. I don’ t “take this for that.” I address root causes and see which symptoms it sorts out.
GLUTATHIONE
Glutathione is a protein that is one of the body’s major master antioxidants used to detoxify.
Glutathione is three amino acids: glycine, glutamine, and cysteine.
While glutathione is not digested directly it is formed in the body
Two main sources of glutathione formation are coffee and raw dairy.
It is well studied that coffee helps form the enzyme glutathione S-transferase in the liver.
This is why coffee consumption correlates with lowered rates of major diseases in many studies.
The Gerson Therapy for cancer, for example, also uses coffee enemas extensively, as enemas deliver nutrients more efficiently
Even though coffee has little protein in it, it sometimes comes up under “protein deficiency” in energetic testing.
Raw milk has the amino acid cysteine that is perhaps the weakest link in forming glutathione. Pasteurized dairy has none because heat converts it to cystine. I have not found the supplement NAC to be tolerable or utilizable generally, as consist with my view of most supplements.
GUESSING AND TESTING
If you are going to experiment on your own and guess what to do next, you will succeed best by focusing on the most promising options like organ meats rather than protein powders.
The other option is energetic testing that can be more systematic ahead of time. I use dowsing with a pendulum from a long list of alternatives of highest quality solutions to identify all weak links at any given time.
That’s why I don’t give personal advice to people I don’t know in FB comments because that would be just guessing. Nor product recommendations that are too much like personal advice and not necessarily what you need. Products are supplements, while food is more general and that’s what I recommend first.
There are also other sources of protein.
The questions for individuals are:
- What kind of diet should you be on?
- How can you upgrade sources of protein?
