Without these you cannot utilize other nutrients so react to many foods and supplements without knowing why: it’s not always the thing itself but what is missing to utilize it: nutritional cofactors.
There are invisible connections you can’t see until you have the theory.
Most people can’t believe I can see a lot of what is going on just from their symptoms because they can’t see how I know.
It’s hard to believe anything will work because so many practitioners miss it, even mineral balancing specialists.
In my journey through chronic fatigue nobody figured it for me.
Even when I was on a close to ideal diet it did not fully kick-in until I took some extra minerals and I had to experiment with forms and combinations.
Major Symptoms of any one of the electrolytes missing:

If you react to mag, pot or sod, that means you lack one of the others you need first.
Or you took the wrong form or with an impurity in the source.
The amounts must be right.
When these are imbalanced a long time other deficiencies will develop because you are not absorbing other nutrients.
Then you get complications that lead to more complications, like a weak gut with histamines, etc.
These minerals are for every cell in the body, including the gut, the heart, the brain, sleep, etc. They are not a separate issue from where the symptoms present.
Most people are caught in endless symptom reaction treatment and can’t see where the leverages begins with basic nutrients as the few root causes of the many symptoms for every organ for every cell the body.
One of the biggest barriers is thinking we know when we don’t.
Some people say they take magnesium as if they have that covered but cannot really evaluate whether it is working.
“Sure it’s working, it relieves my constipation,” they often say.
Actually, the reason mag can relieve constipation is that it is irritating the gut because it is not being absorbed in that form so not reaching all the cells that need it.
People who take forms that are absorbable complain that it does not relieve their constipation.
When they have all the nutrients they need the constipation will be solved more permanently along with all the other symptoms at root cause level.
This is the difference between “take this for that” and a truly holistic or systems approach.
Many inferences are indirect that require sets of observations, not A to B.
Very hard to explain in a quick click world of “just give me the answer” and “cut through all the theory BS.”
Theory is what enables one to interpret unique and unpredictable states of health.
Dairy allergies will occur with any of these minerals off. There are many causes of dairy allergies I have explained and most people think they know but don’t understand the role minerals play. The reasons they give about lactose, A1 casein and pasteurization are true but those alone do not always solve the problem.
Most people need more sulfur and iodine at therapeutic levels to help detoxify, but are likely to react to those with any of the electrolytes are off.
While supplements of some minerals are often needed, whole food forms of many nutrients are superior. I don’t see many people using the most nutritious foods I write about.
I can’t give a general solution.
You can’t just take all minerals in one supplement to cover the bases.
Balance.
