Why is Beef one of the most Healing Foods?
For some people beef is the only thing they can or need to eat.
I find beef to be the most beneficial food overall, way better than a popular trend that seafood is where it is at based on microscope analysis of the fat DHA, rather than experimenting to compare results.
Beef has six things in outstanding amounts.
The first four are often taken separately as supplements for muscle strength, but I have found them to be helpful for all kinds of healing in food form:
Carnitine to get fat into mitochondira for energy. Only lamb is higher.
Carnosine helps dealing with lactic acid, pH, AGEs.
Creatine high energy for workouts
CoQ10 mitochondrial energy
Red meat also has some alpha lipoic acid, ALA, a super antioxidant used in hospitals for liver poisoning or for heavy metal detoxification. This is also an essential antioxidant in small quantities, while supplements are very strong and have side effects.
Sixth, I would add the fat is as valuable as the protein with fatty beef having cholesterol that is super valuable as a nutrients, I just posted 10 Reasons Why Cholesterol is Good.
Fatty beef is generally more valuable than leand.
Everyone knows about grass fed quality fat.
Beef also has some good amounts of basic nutrients like B vitamins and minerals, it’s not just protein and fat.
Buffalo is a form of beef that is generally lean but has much more potent protein.
When I had chronic fatigue it has a speedy, strengthening effect.
I was eating raw butter for fat.
Now that I don’t need all that, I prefer 20% fat beef so I don’t need to buy the much more expensive buffalo and raw butter at the same time.
People can have a negative reaction to beef because it is acid and imbalances their minerals: they need more alkaline minerals for balance: sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium. This is widely discussed in carnivore and keto circles going back to the original Atkins keto diet with historic origins in Arctic explorers.
An extreme beefaterian diet that helps some people illustrates the point that there are more well rounded nutrients in beef that is commonly understood.
But I don’t advocate any extreme diet in general.
I don’t make nutritional decisions based on theory but on individual feedback of results.
Some people cure everything going carnivore because plants bother them, fruits and vegetables.
There are anti nutrients designed to protect plants.
There are fibers identified in the FODMAP diet.
Some formerly carnivores feel better with fruit or carbs.

Plants are trying to kill you.
Some fructo phobes don’t know the difference between high fructose corn syrup and fresh whole fruit. It’s all sugar, they say. That is baby talk, says Joel Greene.
Saladino has been talking about how an insulin response to carbs/sugar is not always a bad thing. He says insulin helps the kidneys absorb the alkaline mineral needed for balance with acid foods like beef. Cramping that some keto people get can be a symptom of lack of potassium or magnesium. It may be that some people can’t get it right just taking the minerals separate from the whole food form with sugar.
Some people get depressed without some carbs.
