The difference between mind and emitions in Primal Rejvuenation is that emotions are what happen to you and mind is how you respond. Emotions are sometimes cleared, the mind creates as another way to clear emotions and go beyond that--see the page Clearing versus Creating.
Mind as a cause is not blaming people for making up their health problems.
Mind is what drives solutions to overcome causes and not be a victim.
1 How You Make Health Choices: Paradigms
Above all, mind is about how you make health decisions, a question of paradigms.
Everyone has conscious and unconscious assumptions about the cause of their problem as what a solution LOOK LIKE even if they don’t know the detail. This how people focus and filter. If their premises are wrong or incomplete, they will continue to fail over and over until they go back and revise basic assumptions.
Paradigms are rarely explained systematically since there are very few good models of paradigms and systems thinking on which it depends, so I created my own. 2. How You Respond To Stress And Life.
As a diagnosis this part of mind is called brain or nervous system dysfunction as an overreaction or stress and failure to rest, digest, and immunize. Autoimmune Nervous System dysreguation, referred to as ANS, is a common component of chronic illness. This is the stress response being turned on or off too much.
Too much is fight or flight response with overactive mind and muscles when one does not feel safe due to a combination of the environment relative to one’s ability to respond to defend oneself or master life.
Too little is the freeze response from:
Often both occur at the same time: you don’t deal with conflict so you remain stressed because it is not resolved.
While the causes of ANS can be emotional or physical, it is also mind. I put it under MIND since the solution is under mind.
Physical toxins and emotional abuse or neglect that leaves a person physically weak, afraid and insecure. Either a physical or emotional problem can come first to initiate a downward spiral but after that it’s like a left and right foot working together.
The problem of stress responses or ANS is actually not just occurring in people with physical health problems but actually captures a definition of the meaning of life: to shift from the lower survival brain with its negativity bias toward defending against threats, to freeing thinking for creativity and better connection with people. This produces less stress hormones that give you more physical energy to feel stronger for a virtuous circle to worry less and create what you want more.
At first, ANS is physically embodied and seems to come out of nowhere but the solution is to get the conscious mind involved to be aware of choices, like sticking to the new paradigm of holistic health strategy that lays out the path of success in more detail so that you can be more confident. Embodying that confidence as a feeling gives you more physical energy to get clarity to make good choices to improve health and then it can snowball positively. It can go so far as to be a like a placebo effect as you create your life that changes body chemistry and energy.
This is how to overcome hopelessness, depression and anxiety. You cannot just clear feelings from childhood but need an adult plan to do that and more with a greater understanding of what life is about.
It begins in the mind as the first step to choice that overcomes reaction.
