The Illness Matrix is....
.....Making fragmented decisions to treat the many symptoms rather than complete solutions focused on the few root causes like nutrition and toxicity.
Shopping, specialized academic science and medical practice conspire to bamboozle your health decisions.
Shopping for supplements or recipes is “taking this for that” symptom.
It is also the compulsion to experience something new without careful implementation to adjust details, which can make or break success.
Specialized academic science seeks to generalize around one or a few variables.
This leads to generalized rather than customized treatments for individuals: “Take this for that.”
The opposite style of research is focused on customized solutions with many variables for the individual. That’s much harder to do. Standardization is needed more at the assessment phase of range of questions asked to cover all possibilities.
Medicine still depends on academic research so it has a more fragmented picture of symptoms and no collective definition at all of root causes or criteria for what constitutes a root cause.
An alternative model of science is suggested by the engineering methods of six sigma that include:
- Root cause analysis of the entire system.
- A new form of statistics focused on variation of a system rather than a false sense of statistical probabilities to generalize a few variables.
- Operationalized knowledge: specification and quantification into practical detail.
- Customized solutions for individuals
- Iterative process of experimentation and learning, not one shot implementation and then blame the patient for failure.
From this I derive the following criteria for success:
Assessment of root causes based on symptoms, labs, and energetic testing.
Prescription of what will work based on energetic testing that works across time and space to the extent you ask the right scientific questions. Factor of success are:
- Quality of brand, source of food, etc.
- Quantities
- Combinations of cofactor solutions that work together as a system.
- Order of implementation
- Review of Implementation
- Adjustment, improvement
- Immediate feedback by measurement of symptoms for rapid correction of action plan.
This helps provide a definition of holistic health as a new matrix of health.
