As a long distance runner I was generally in the 130s pound range at 5'9".
At my lowest when sick with chronic fatigue I was about 113, and 118 for awhile.
I heard someone saying in Spanish, "Look at that faggot dying of AIDS."
"Meida, esta maricon murienda de la SIDA."
Eventually I plateaued at 165 and had to make a special energy to gain weight.
I had a breakthrough in energy levels when i finally gained weight to 170. I increased and held steady 186 for years. I was not ready to workout so it was not muscle.
What I did may be different than what you need to do because everyone has a different weak link holding them back: nutrient deficiency or need, digestive help, etc.
Body shape was not ideal but skin quality and vibrancy got me a lot of compliments as I looked younger. One health adviser said I used to look like a nerd, then I looked like a jock, again. Skin quality especially is better with weight gain.
