Optimize 4 Systems:
Mitochondria Liver Gut Circulation
Understanding four body systems helps design health strategies for any problem.
This is different than matching each symptoms with a remedy.
Instead, symptoms can be used as indicators of different system problems and how to take action.
Cell Mitochondria produce energy for every function in every organ.
This refers to all basic nutritional needs and deficiencies: minerals, vitamins, proteins, fats, sunlight. When the body has all the nutrients it needs it can start to heal itself. Always start here.
Liver Gallbladder Detoxification.
This is the major detox organ filtering the blood.
Symptoms can be noticeable and easy to understand:
gallbladder pain
constipation
brain fog as the blood is not cleaned
circulation problems as toxic blood does damage in the periphery
Liver health depends on all the mitochondrial basic nutrients for liver detox.
In addition, antioxidants, binders, and bile building nutrients.
Gut.
A leaky gut floods the blood with undigested food which burderns the liver and immune system.
Reactiosn to foods by the immune system, like mast cells, may be partly due to their udigested nature, not just cofactor defiicencies.
The liver also has to work harder to remove endotoxns like LPS by products of bacteria.
The weaker the liver is the less bile there may be to help sterilze the gut
Root causes of gut line damage leading to leaky gut include: toxins, parasites, and nutritional deficiencies.
Circulation of Extracellular Fluids
Circulation is how all these systems work dynamically as fluid flows since the body is mainly water.
Toxins move out of the cell through the interstitial fluid into the lymph, blood, liver, bile and gut.
The body needs to move muscle to pump the lymph and veins to return blood to the heart and liver.
People with chronic health problems have less energy to move but need to move more often in small amounts to mechanically circulate.
What many people don’t know is that blood circulation is pulled by electrical charge in the capillaries with the heart as a back-up mechanism.
High and low blood pressure represent low electrical change and low body energy.
BP problems represent nutritional deficiencies like magnesium, potassium and sunlight, some key nutrients for inside the cell, too.
One reason for insomnia is poor circulation: can’t get to sleep or wake up too soon because circulation can’t deliver nutrients to perform functions of sleep. Can’t deliver nutrients because can’t remove the waste.
On some level the body may perceive it is suffocating from lack of oxygen or nutrients to cells and thus produce stress hormones like cortisol that is a fight of flight signal to get up and do something like move around to stimulate lymph and vein circulation, or a bowel movement.
People who have enough capillary electrical charge can sleep longer without getting up to move.
Synthesis versus Analysis Paralysis
Sleep is not a function of tired as many people can’t sleep but are exhausted.
Insomnia is not always caused by a deficiency of the nutritional mechanisms of sleep or even light based circadian rhythms being disrupted by artificial lights and odd sleep schedules.
The body is always trying to do something and problems represent nutrient deficiencies, movement deficiency, and regulation problems of brain and immunity. This I call functional insomnia, in contrast to mechanism insomnia.
Chronic health problems are problems of complexity.
Solving complex problems requires some simplifying categories to help focus on the right things without oversimplifying.
We don’t want to go back and forth asking: Is it toxins, infection, or just stress? Or even which to do first.
When it can be all of those and we need to find leverage at the root cause and treatment levels, like with nutrients and movement.
My method is to observe how things work as a whole.
That means not spending too much time looking through the microscope and trying to manipulate chemicals one by one but losing sight of the big picture. This is one way to analysis paralysis.
Traditional Chinese herbalism, for example, examines how all the organs function together as a whole based on observation, without the use of microscopes and experimental labs to understand details. One interesting idea is that the gallbladder meridian is the longest energy path for the smallest organ because it is such a tight juncture and can be a key weak link bottleneck having so many consequences: Gallbladder means bile flow that represents detox capability and the ability to clean the blood to enable circulation. Liver and GB are also recognized as impacting brain regulation with insomnia being sometimes attributed to this pathway.
If you leave out addressing any of these four systems you could limit your health.
