How Health, Purpose, & Love
are Related
Power in your body and brain for action.
Testosterone reflects physical health and masculinity.
The hormone of calm assertiveness.
It’s not aggression; it’s focus and strength of mind and body.
Testosterone is just the tip of the iceberg that is produced by a healthy body.
(not the other way around, as if you can just take a supplement to give you all the energy)
Testosterone is the knife’s edge that cuts through to break through.
Challenges of life can feel overwhelming, like we just don’t have the physical energy to do it.
So our thoughts go negative and we dissociate into distraction and self-sabotage.
Men have a tendency to go in our heads to not feel the pain that should motivate us to do something or confront someone but, instead, avoid conflict.
Or escape into working out, watching sports, or sex.
Or get angry.
We need healthy powerful brains and bodies to act toward purpose and for love.
Physical metaphors express this: balls, backbone, etc.
Posture expresses confidence.
To be in a good mood.
To have a magnetic presence of a good quality.
Health is its own reward.
But sometimes the motivation also needs to come from somewhere else: purpose or love.
And there are connections because sometimes how we do one thing is how we do everything.
It can come down to what we believe about ourselves.
Seeing ourselves from all these angles can help.
An ultimate reward for work is the love of a woman.
Love is where we have hurt the most: from endless rejection.
Stuck in a relationship with a self centered and abusive woman who was always the victim.
Some men have been through incomprehensible nightmares with little help.
Much relationship advice for men is not enough or is itself toxic.
I’ve learned how to avoid those problems and feel the heart of a kind woman who is feminine to choose someone who is at least safe.
This requires presence, not being my head with what to say or automatically pursuing her based on visual hotness.
I know how to meet women in a relaxed way.
Know how to hold back and flow.
Check neediness and adjust to where she is at and what is possible.
Know how to stand up to disrespect and bounce fast.
Manipulation proof from controlling women and people who just argue.
Avoid chasing too many women to focus on quality and purpose: to relentlessly pursue growing a business year after year with difficult tasks like writing.
This requires brain power from health and cutting edge T.
Having a woman is important in the long run: We all need support and a helper for some things.
It’s alright to be single sometimes, but in the long run very lonely, boring, and unfulfilling to not care for someone.
Challenges sometimes require new thinking & how we move in the world:
Thinking like an Engineer: a systems approach to health and everything.
Instincts of a Hunter to sense what your body needs.
Knowing the difference between physical needs and emotional compulsion to eat and work out.
There is a connection between listening to your body and strong boundaries.
Be Present to your needs and the needs of others as a husband, father, manager, leader
