Collagen, Nutrients, Circulation, Liver, Immunity, Movement
Skin quality, low energy, bad posture, pain, veins showing, and constipation are signs of aging, regardless of age.
The root causes we can do something about are lack of nutrients and movement versus toxicity and stress.
Skin and Deeper: Collagen Collapse
The most obvious sign of aging is skin which is a sign of collagen collapse.
Collagen is not just something that keeps your skin smooth and young, but helps provide the structuring of space for deep hydration of extracellular fluid around cells known as interstitial fluid. This structure is now considered a new organ, the interstitium.
Blood delivers nutrients to the interstitial fluid to get to the cells, and lymph removes waste and toxins to allow nutrients to flow in.
Interstitial structure also affects cells on the surface of the skin. This may be why it sometimes takes collagen supplements a few weeks to show results because the deeper hydration and circulation needs to be repaired first to get nutrients to the surface.
Collagen deficiency is due to multiple nutrient deficiencies, but not going to analyze details now.
Nutrient Deficiencies
Aging involves running low on nutrients for all bodily functions or energy for mitochondria and circulation.
To slow aging one must be vigilant on identifying and getting all the minerals, vitamins, proteins, fat, sunlight, etc, that are needed, not just eating whatever you feel like and seeing how far you get.
We must avoid foods that are not tolerated or that are not optimum for health.
Better nutrition means more energy: that’s how you know you are on track with how you feel after each meal each day.
More energy for the brain. Don’t become a rigid old person who can’t learn new things and change. Brain plasticity.
Veins Showing: Liver Problem
Spider veins, vein color showing through the skin, etc., are signs of:
- Collagen collapse of the structure of vessels (deficiencies).
- Toxins damaging the vessels.
- Electrons deficiency from lack of nutrients as circulation is pulled through the capillaries with the heart as the back-up leading to high or low blood pressure when electrons are low. Look it up this is a basic premise and not something I can explain every time I write-- see previous writing, find it, don’t ask.
Anti oxidant or free radical quenchers are needed to reduce the positive change of free radicals by donating electrons
Antioxidants are needed in the liver and locally wherever toxins are.
Cholesterol is an antioxidant and helps repair cell membranes.
Oxidized cholesterol has donated and electron and has not be recycled by other antioxidants that should be present for health low levels. They all work together recycling: glutathione, E, C, selenium etc.
Toxins require nutrients to detoxify so toxins create nutrient deficiencies and direct free radical damage to skin and all organs.
Slow liver detox process often contribute to constipation, or diarrhea as an emergency response possibly to remove volatile toxins the liver could not process due to lack of nutrients like antioxidants.
The liver has to be supported to deal with the toxic exposure we get every day.
Weight and Cell Renewal
Fat is not just from excess eating but from lack of micro nutrients to burn fat and carbs for energy. It’s a calorie to nutrient ratio.
There are other forms of dead weight: scar tissue, inflammation, puffy, bloaty, tumors,
Sub-optimal and scenescent cells.
It’s not just about fasting, autophagy and other nutrient chemicals people like to analyze.
The immune system is part of removing everything that does not belong: infection, toxins, cancer, fat, etc.
The immune system helps against all kinds of invaders and stagnation.
The immune system is white blood cells: diverse, balanced, regulated.
Pain, Posture, Movement
Voluntary muscles move the lymph and vein circulation.
Movement is limited by pain as things break down.
Pain can be easily reduced with the right nutrients to start moving more again.
Alignment makes for efficient movement, not joints grinding, etc., through many techniques including of all walking properly in the right shoes.
Posture is determined by hips and feet that affect lower back pain.
Sitting in chairs too much without compensating misaligns posture and movement.
The glutes are the largest muscle and key for maintain posture. Don’t let your butt go.
It’s not a superficial appearance thing. Activating it can be more than working out but also releasing tension in the surrounding muscles. Overall balance is systemic.
