Deficiency Chain Reaction:
One Nutrient Deficiency Creates Another Deficiency
- Lower energy of every cell, organ, and function (like digestion) that contributes to all symptoms.
- One deficiency creates another deficiency because nutrients operate as cofactors that work together as a whole system. Deficiencies lead to a downward spiral of more weak links in a chain reaction.
- Sensitivities to foods and sunlight that you need.
- Allow toxic body burden to increase because nutrients are what detoxifies best. Toxins drain nutrients
- Lower immunity to infection that drains more nutrients and weakens digestion.
- Create mutations of healthy bacteria and yeast that turn into candida that create more food sensitivities and deficiencies.
- Stagnates circulation of lymph, blood and cerebrospinal fluid necessary to detox and deliver nutrients.
- Dysreguate the brain/nervous system: not sleeping well, overreacting to stress, and imbalancing hormones.
- Weight gain: through cravings to get minerals and vitamins necessary to burn fat, carbs. Bad nutrient to calorie ratio.
- Weight loss: can't digest enough to maintain muscle, etc.,
One nutritional deficiency leads to another because nutrients work together as cofactors to utilize each other.
So a deficiency through the input of one nutrient can lead to deficiency of utilization of another nutrient even if its input through the diet is enough.
The unutilized nutrient can then accumulate as a toxin.
As with the case of calcium and iron that are isolated, unbounded, and not excreted but remain to cause trouble.
Iron not utilized in the red blood cells is often deposited around the body. Input is good but not in the right place, so blood tests show anemia but taking iron supplements can make things worse if it is a utilization problem.
The nutrient that is underutilized can cause reactions like allergies, bloating, inflammation, and weaker digestion that leads to less ability to use nutrients. Or be used by infections to construct shields against the immune system, as is the case with iron and calcium in biofilm.
And thus you have a cascade of symptoms leading to worsening health.
For example, magnesium, potassium and sodium work together to absorb each other.
If lacking one more than the other, often one must take the most deficient one first before the other nutrient is tolerated.
So if you take magnesium and it bothers you then potassium or sodium should be taken first.
This assumes the form you are taking is the form you can use and that it is not a supplement with impurities that is irritating to the body.
Magnesium, potassium and sodium in balance are necessary to absorb nearly everything else, like calcium. Lacking two or three of these minerals and you can be allergic to anything or almost everything.
Someone with 7 nutrient deficiencies may have to take some in order of priority to utilize the next nutrient.
Finding quality sources and the exact amount is also very important to avoid negative reactions.
As people descend deeper into deficiency they get more tired, accumulate more toxins and get more infections.
Nutrient Deficiencies Increase Toxicity and Infection
Toxins require many nutrients to remove so as demand for nutrients increases, toxins create deficiencies.
Nutrient deficiencies lead to a weaker immune system and more infections.
In fact, nutrient deficiencies are known to automatically lead to healthy yeast mutating into a pathogenic form of candida, as with the B vitamin biotin when deficient leads to some forms of candida.
Parasites can eat your food, weaken digestion, and intentionally disable parts of your immune system so you cannot fight them.
Worms can live in you for years, this does not just come and go like a cold.
Lab tests are not good at finding parasite because often parasites don’t come out in the sample or self destruct quickly by their own enzymes.
With this chain reaction of weak links can come many symptoms and complications: the inability digest, sleep, and work with no one understanding and then blaming you.
Some people have so many reactions all they feel they can do is avoid things and can’t fix it so they can’t be very proactive. They have a very sensitive order of implementation to build tolerance to the next nutrient.
Cofactors of the Most Important Nutrient
Sun is the most important nutrient and not just “for” vitamin D.
Sun operates through your eyes to regulate your entire hormone and regulatory rhythms of rest.
Through the skin sun coverts photons of light to electrons for energy for everything: all cells, organs, blood flow, functions, and symptoms. It’s Einstein’s photo electric effect.
Sun has cofactors to be utilized through the skin.
If you burn or your skin stings in the sun that can be an indication of missing cofactors.
Getting sun from the red spectrum in the morning helps build protection against oxidizing UV rays around noon, that also have more vitamin D.
Protection is built through the production of the enzyme catalase. Catalase is also even sold as supplement to protect against the use of oxidizing hydrogen peroxide hair bleaching.
Cholesterol and sulfur work together to make electrons and vitamin D in the skin.
Sulfur depends on the mineral molybdenum to be utilized. Sulfur intolerance anyone?
Calling it a genetic mutation is just describing the symptom through superficial science.
It’s mainly epigenetics modified by the environment.
And now we are back to “take this for that:” taking molyb for sulfur intolerance.
That might not work by itself since by now there could be a chain reaction of deficiencies that have created multiple weak links.
We must get magnesium, potassium and sodium in balance to help absorb everything else.
Chain Reactions in the Complexity of Your Whole System
Each mineral, vitamin, protein, fat, sunlight, etc. has many functions in the body.
Nutrient cannot be understood as, “What is it “for?” as just one symptom.
Many people can’t get beyond, “Take this for that.”
Or, “Just fix my X,” so they don’t have to think.
All nutrients are necessary for every cell, organ, function and symptom.
Deficiencies are root causes.
Nutrients are ways to heal other root causes like toxicity and infection.
This is truly holistic systems thinking at a higher level of complexity that is necessary to succeed with health.
The reasons people are still searching for answers is probably the way they make decisions about health: They my think all they need is a few missing details, but really they need a new paradigm for how they put it all together.
Number one: things isolated or in relation within a whole system?
“I’m allergic to that inherently.”
Actually, it is relational and contextual: you have to know how nutrients depend on each other.
Learning how to interpret symptoms and solve them at root cause level requires a vast framework.
Interpreting Experiments
Since science and labs tests are incomplete we have to experiment.
We can focus on getting all the basic nutrients in so the body can heal itself of all weak links.
We don’t always know exactly how symptoms occur but can interpret some symptoms as indicators of certain deficiencies, in a more complex and indirect manner than “take this for that.”
We can sharpen our instincts for foods that make sense, not just inaccurate cravings from a brain that is imbalanced and has never experienced the food it needs so can’t identify its real needs.
